History and Philosophy
Dr. Justin Cramer grew up in Saline County. After completing medical school and residency, he returned to Marshall in 2003 and practiced here until 2010. Since then, Dr. Cramer obtained a master's degree from The George Washington University with emphasis on healthcare and public policy and has applied those skills to his position as the chief medical officer for a large Missouri health plan. In this role, Dr. Cramer supervised clinical teams of doctors, nurses and behavioral health providers. In addition, he oversaw the operation of an NCQA accredited Quality Improvement program and was responsible for the population health management of over 100,000 Missourians.
Throughout this time, Dr. Cramer has been an active volunteer in the healthcare community, providing medical care to those without access to it across the state and the world. His volunteer medical activities have included helping to establish and staff a clinic at Youth In Need, a transitional shelter for homeless teens and young adults in St. Charles, Mo; providing outpatient care through Medical Missions for Christ, an organization that provides free clinic care to qualified uninsured adults in Camdenton, Mo; and three medical missions to Central America with teams of physicians, dentists, nurses and volunteers from mid-Missouri.
Providing personal, thoughtful, expert care to individuals and families has remained Dr. Cramer's passion, and he is excited to share that passion with the mid-Missouri community once again.
